Operating Principles

  • We Partner with like-minded people and organizations.

  • We depend on God’s grace, God’s providence, remembering His Sovereignty and our position within it.

  • We are David, not Goliath; if we approach these challenges following traditional methods that are effective in the US, we will spend too much money and have too little impact.

  • The Solutions we provide are tailored for the environment into which they are deployed. We presume that “Western solutions” are entirely inadequate for impoverished healthcare environments.

  • The Solutions we provide are wholistic. It is insufficient to address the physical illness alone; we must pay attention to the cultural, economic, social, emotional and spiritual challenges of patients’ wellbeing.

  • We are completely dependent on in-country partners to familiarize us with the real needs of our beneficiaries and the challenges we will face providing solutions to these problems.

  • We lead where we are equipped and follow when others are better positioned to lead.
